St. Louis, MO – The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA) held its annual conference in February and presented the 2026 Member Contribution Award to Tehane Ali, Bayer Crop Science. The award is presented in appreciation of significant contributions to The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance, its goals and its growth.  Tehane exemplifies the essence of this honor,  which helps promote the mission of The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance.

While this is only her fourth TPSA conference and while she is still rather new to TPSA, she was fully engaged from her very first minute at last year’s conference.  She volunteered to be the Chair of the Annual Conference Planning Committee.  Her organizational and leadership skills were evident throughout the entire year.  In 2026 she will serve as treasurer of the association.

The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA), founded in 2000, is an organization of federal, state, and local governmental agencies, educational and research institutions, public organizations, private corporations, and individuals that are actively involved in various aspects of pesticide stewardship.  The goals of TPSA are to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and longevity of various pesticide stewardship efforts.

The 2027 Pesticide Stewardship Conference is scheduled for February 2-4 in San Diego, California.
