Wisconsin Clean Sweep Program Restored!

One of America's longest running and most successful clean sweep programs was restored in July 2009 with the passage of the State Budget.

Although reduced from $1 million to $750,000 per year for local grants, all collection programs are running for the fall of 2009: farm, household and drugs, and a 2010 RFP has been released. The Clean Sweep Program has been in continuous operation since 1990, and was saved due to extensive lobbying and legislative contacts. For more information, contact Roger Springman, Program Manager at 608-224-4545.
