St. Louis, MO – The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA) held its 11th Annual Conference at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, February 13-15, 2011. One hundred and thirty two conferees from across the U.S. and four foreign countries participated in the meeting. Agenda topics addressed current Mini Bulk pesticide container recycling, drift label language and enforcement, pesticide disposal programs, product stewardship of agricultural films, recycled agricultural products, and soil fumigants, and domestic and international stewardship outreach. The range of meeting topics reflects the diverse association membership with professionals from academia, private industry, and governmental agencies.

TPSA is headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Its mission is to promote and support improvements in stewardship of pesticides and agricultural plastics in the U.S. and internationally. The 2012 TPSA Annual Conference will be held February 8-9 in Boise Idaho at the Boise Centre.

The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA), founded in 2000, is a non-profit organization that brings together technical experts, researchers, pesticide applicators, regulators, educators, crop protection industry, hazardous waste industry, agricultural plastic recyclers, environmental and public health constituents, students and others to promote and support improvements in stewardship of pesticides and agricultural plastics in the United States and internationally. The goals of TPSA are to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and longevity of various pesticide stewardship efforts.
