St. Louis, MO – The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance (TPSA) has set February 21-23, 2010 for the 10th annual conference on Pesticide and Ag Plastics Stewardship to be held in Savannah, Georgia.

Bask in southern hospitality as you connect, interface and learn from the leaders of industry, state and federal government agencies, university extension specialists and international players in the pesticide/ag plastics stewardship arena.

Topics such as minimizing off target spray drift, golf course pesticide stewardship and IPM, markets and technologies for recycling ag films, water quality stewardship and NPDES regulations are just a few of the opportunities to be explored in this fast paced exciting venue.

Key note addresses and plenaries include “New Directions at EPA for Pesticides and Product Stewardship” and “Green Chemistry” presented by Terry Collins, Institute for Green Science, Carnegie Mellon

The Hyatt Regency Savannah will be the location of the conference with an off site session at The Club of Savannah Harbor where golf course pesticide stewardship issues will be explored along with a tour of the facility.

TPSA is a non-profit organization that brings together technical experts, researchers, pesticide applicators, regulators, educators, crop protection industry, hazardous waste industry, agricultural plastic recyclers, environmental and public health constituents, students and others to promote and support improvements in stewardship of pesticides and agricultural plastics in the United States and internationally.
